For routine and biopsy specimens, your physician may expect a result within 24 hours of receipt in our laboratory. The turnaround time may be longer in more complex cases requiring additional studies. Results for consultation cases are generally available in three days unless further testing is required to complete the case.

Reports are released only to the physician submitting the specimen. Please contact your physician for your results.
Your specimen (surgically removed tissue) has been referred to the pathology physicians in our group for evaluation. Celligent Diagnostics received the specimen in our laboratory following a biopsy (removal of tissue) taken during a visit to your family physician, specialist, clinic or hospital. Upon arrival in our laboratory, the tissue samples undergo multiple processing steps before being embedded in wax, sectioned and placed on glass slides by our professional staff. Each slide is carefully examined by one of our board-certified pathologists and a diagnosis is rendered. A report is dictated, transcribed and sent to your physician, who contacts you with the results. We are happy to bill you or your insurance for these services.
